Quieter, smoother, longer-lasting
Garage Door Roller Replacement
Rollers are small parts doing a big job — a two-car door runs on ten or twelve of them, thousands of times a year. Worn rollers make doors loud, jerky and prone to jumping the track. We replace them with sealed nylon rollers and inspect the full lift system while we're there.

Garage Door Roller Replacement: the short answer
Garage door rollers typically last 10,000–15,000 cycles — about 7 to 12 years. Signs of worn rollers include wobbling wheels, flat spots, squeaking and a door that shakes as it moves. Upgrading to sealed nylon rollers makes the door noticeably quieter and smoother. Because rollers connect to the same hinges and brackets the springs load, replacement is safest done by a technician.
Signs you're dealing with this
If any of these sound familiar, call before the problem grows — most garage door failures are cheaper caught early.
- Visible wobble, cracking or flat spots on the roller wheels
- Door shakes or jerks as it travels
- Squealing from the tracks
- Rollers that spin poorly or are seized solid
- Door has jumped the track before
How we fix it
Sealed nylon rollers
We install sealed-bearing nylon rollers that stay quiet and resist Florida's humidity-driven corrosion. Unlike open-bearing steel rollers, they don't need greasing and don't grind themselves apart.
Hinges and brackets checked too
Rollers mount to the hinges and the bottom brackets — and the bottom brackets are under full cable tension. We inspect the whole path so a worn hinge doesn't eat your new rollers.
Track alignment verification
New rollers in a misaligned track still run rough. We verify track spacing and plumb, adjust where needed, and run the full balance test before calling the job done.
